Duckett Creek Sanitary District has broken ground on construction of a new wastewater treatment plant.
The treatment plant is located approximately 1/2 mile south of the Hopewell Rd. and Diehr Rd. intersection along Hopewell Rd.
The treatment plant construction will be completed in stages. The first stage will allow treatment of approximately 2.5 million gallons a day. The first stage is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2024.
