Executive Director Recruitment – Duckett Creek Sanitary District

The District is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Executive Director.  The Executive Director is responsible for directing, coordinating and managing the day to day operations of the Duckett Creek Sanitary Sewer District. The Executive Director oversees the financial management of the District, recommends and implements policies and procedures, develops and directs strategic planning, ensures compliance with applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), state and industry regulations and acts as a liaison for the District to federal, state and local government, the business community and public.  The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with advanced education desired, strong experience and working knowledge of governmental accounting and ten or more years of progressive management experience. The ideal candidate must also have strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, should demonstrate an understanding of a governmental utility organization, knowledge and experience in the preparation of governmental budgets, experience in governmental purchasing and personnel practices.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.  Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
